Oleg Usoltsev
PhD Student at Smart Materials
Since I entered the The Smart Materials Research Institute, I have been involved in research with collaboration around the world. I took part in synchrotron experiments in ESRF (France) and DESY (Germany). I presented my project at several of international conferences. After graduation I decided to continue my education here as PhD student because this is kind to feel yourself as an element of a booming organism.
Kirill Lomachenko
Beamline scientist at ESRF (France)
I spent the years of my Master studies in Russia, Germany and Italy, following the Erasmus Mundus MaMaSELF program. The knowledge and experience that I got in the Southern Federal University working in the group of Prof. Soldatov was invaluable for my subsequent PhD quest and further career. I strongly recommend to participate in the Master's degree program in the Smart Materials Research Institute of the SFedU to those who are looking for excellent opportunities in the field of physics, chemistry and materials science.
Lee Jeongwoo
Graduated in 2020
I came here because I knew that this research group has a big expertise and modern equipment which I’m able to use for the synthesis of new materials for cancer treatment and diagnostics.
Fares Jalled
PhD Student at BTU (Germany)
It was a great experience to study in the smartest research group in Russia!
Alina Skorynina
PhD Student at Smart Materials
It was a great experience for me owing to the practical and theoretical courses variety, which includes the main current approaches to the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials. The program allowed me to understand how modern science works, and inspired me to carry on my own research in this scientific group.
Zaineb Algobory
Lecturer at the University of Babylon (Irak)
I really liked to study at SFedU for a very supportive environment and advanced laboratories with modern equipment. It helped me to find a good job in my country easily and inspired me to do a lot of researches, based on my experience at SFedU. I recommend the Master’s program «Nanoscale Structure of Materials», as it’s a reliable and good one!
